a broken toe and life lessons

a journal entry for sharing... pondering getting into the water....

all life is a learning lesson. if you don't get out and live, which includes both success and failure, how do you expect to learn anything of this great lesson we call life? If we succeeded at every chance for a lesson, then where would there be room for growth? It's not about winning or losing, it's about being brave enough to play knowing that failure is just as important (if not more) as success. One doesn't exist without the other, just like everything else in life. Rather than try to separate the two (or avoid the one you don't "like"), appreciate the oneness in duality. We learn in duality. To be afraid of failure, is to be afraid of success... and therefore LIFE. What is there really to lose in oneness?
